Enjoy the fruits of my ignoring mangas and such. Check there for updates from now on...there's a nice blog there where you can comment just like here and everything. The only reason I keep this account now -- officially -- is because of friends. Done deal.

| "What's god?"
"Well, y'know when you want something real bad and you close your eyes and wish for it? God's the guy that ignores you."
Psst. There is no island.
| Okay, so...the layover wasn't exactly in New York City. Heh, it was in Newark, NJ. Haha. Right across the river. I know this because I saw the statue of liberty from my plane on the return trip. Funny, I couldn't see it from JFK last year when I actually had the layover in NYC. Oh well.
Hmmm...I liked the return better. I got lots of presents and a chance to legally be the center of attention. I feel like some sort of spy going to another country and reporting back. Well, four countries, technically. I stayed in Germany most of the time but we also spent a few hours of a day in Holland, the Netherlands and Belgium. I loved the Belgium scenerie, but they speak french there, therefore I couldn"t understand the people and they couldn't understand me. Oh well, all the stores were closing then anyway. No need for speaking and not understanding.
The German cities I visited were Aachan, Cologne, Bonn, Auskirche, Bruehl and probably some I don't remember. I stayed in Zuelpich, so, yeah, I visited there too!
Out of $500, I spent about 400 euros. I still have about 25 euros in cash and then over twenty in euro change. I got a Bundeswarjacke (German war jacket), several notebooks, a shit load of Haribo candy (costed a fortune), some Fishbone stuff, German mangas (Shaman King 11 & 12, xxxHolic 5 and Naruto 1 - Naruto was for Djin), a striped shirt, a nice black hoody, a black tank top, a messenger bag, a "Tornado F-14" belt, a glass caligraphy pen for Djin and a few other items.
I took as many pictures as possible with two pair of batteries. Their outlets are different therefore charging my batteries was impossible. Ugh. Someone in my group had to lend me some.
The plane ride back I slept for the first four hours. (It was eight hours and eighteen minutes long - Sarah will never let anyone forget it.) I listened to my iPod and abstracted my way slowly through the remaining four hours. God does my throat hurt. It was fun listening to other people while I did it. They talk about the most pointless, yet funniest shit.
Customs was fun. We went through two custom checks in the Cologne/Bonn airport. The second one was right at the gate. We went through, took off our shoes, metals and put our shit through. They firsked us, and took everything out of the carry-ons and put it back in. Then, they took tham back around in the bins to the front back through the x-ray and took everything out again and put it back in. -.- If you didn't find it the first time, what makes you think you'll find it the second times 'round? They"re supposed to be "top security", so if they're that good, why twice? Meh.
Well, the plane to Buffalo was also fun. First I was watching as the lady man handled our baggage into the cargo pit of the plane. She broke a nail, looked at it for a few seconds and then walked away leaving the rest of the luggage unattended. To top that off, the plane driver didn't seem the be capable of flying through clouds. It was bumpy and all that jazz. We"d be going at a constant, normal speed and then we'd slow down and drop slightly before picking up the normal pace again. And the stewardess was the most suspicious acting woman I've ever seen. I almost thought I was on a plane with terrorists. The guy didn't even give us an arrival warning until halfway down to the ground.
Anyway, I'm happy to be home. Djin got me red and black Vans, the Gorillaz dvd (Live in Manchester), the huge ass metal size 4 gages (The left hole is bigger then it and the right one I had to gage further and it hurts like a motherfucker. Haha) and a five subject notebook. Wide ruled, but hey, I can work with it. Lol.
Mutti got me paper and there mezmerizing notebooks for school. They're awesome. Haha. She just gave me the best reason not to pay attention. Lets all learn from the black and white circles and designs!
I love the gages. Lol. The left one likes to fall off when I lay down. Haha. Amusing.
Well, I'll tell more later...or not. Depends on how I'm feeling. I hurt in places. >.<

| Today's the day. I go to the airport around noon. Djin, mutti, my sister and grandmother are taking me to the airport to see me off. This flight is going to be soooo long. Eight hours, give or take. There's a two hour layover in New York city.
I'll be meeting my German exchange group in the halls before we go through security and such. I can't wait, I'm so excited, but I'm also nervous. I'm going to miss everyone so much. Hopefully I can make a few calls to my house and Djin. Maybe once a week. That wouldn't be too much, right? I'm only going from the fourth (today) until the nineteenth. That's about two weeks.
Exchanging the money is going to be fun too. Their money is very colourful, I plan on keeping a dollar from the euros. Maybe a few coins, who knows?
Well, I got to eat now and Djin is going to be here soon. Bye everyone, like I said, I'll miss you lots!
| We went to Barnes and Nobles today. Djin's oma (grandma) took us. Djin bought me two more mangas. I am happy. ^^
xxxHolic - Book 2 Shaman King - Book 3
Hehe. Just need 3 through 9(?) of xxxHolic to complete the collection and book 7 of Shaman King. I haven't seen anything higher than 9 for Shaman King anywhere, so I'm assuming that there's only nine? Unless someone can correct me, (or I get my lazy ass to actually google it up).
We also need books 8 through 10 of Naruto. And then if there will be any future ones. I have 1 through 7 from my obsession a while back with Naruto. Haha, that was before the series came out in America. I was watching the Japanese versions with English subtitles then. I like the Japanese versions better. -.-
Need the Rurouni Kenshin mangas and the secone Godchild too. Then there's Tsubasa and a buncha others like Eureka Seven. Oh my god I'm a manga junkie. ._.
Well, more later maybe.
